On the 3rd of March 1909 LUIGI BOLDROCCHI established its activity with the first orders for the supply of ten centrifugal fans.In 1911 the “Officine Termo Meccaniche BOLDROCCHI” was set up in Milano with an operating area of 3000 sq.m..In 1914 the first plant for air pollution control was produced.The Company offered a wide range of products including radial and axial fans, fire-tube boilers, coolers, dryers, ventilating and heat-exchange units and plants.In 1926, the licence for the manufacture of finned tubes was acquired in the USA and the manufacture of extended surface heat-exchangers was developed.From then on, the product range has been enlarged, above all as regards to air cooled heat exchangers, process fans, heavy duty silencers and enclosures by means of BOLDROCCHI Acustica. In the nineties the acquisition of two companies: Aeroto,

active since 1952 in gas turbine silencing, and De Cardenas, expert in diverter dampers, allowed BOLDROCCHI to obtain new market opportunities as supplier of air intake and exhaust systems.

Boldrocchi Group at present includes several companies in Italy, in Europe and in U.S.A.; new branches are in the process of being set up in the Far East and South America.BOLDROCCHI Company employs 300 people, among them 100 technicians, in two workshops with a covered manufacturing area of about 27.000 sq. m., both equipped with thermal, acoustic and aeraulic test facilities.Boldrocchi production is divided into four main lines: heat exchange (exchangers and coolers), fans, industrial noise protection and air pollution control.Today production features highly specialised technical content, many years of “on site” experience, flexibility in design and production together with high quality standards. Supplies are tailor made to fit customers’ specific requirements.BOLDROCCHI Quality system has been certified

according to ISO 9001 since 1993 and approved by A.S.M.E. Code since 1998A wide range of materials are usually utilized: steel, copper and aluminium alloys, titanium and plastic materials; more than 100 welding processes have been qualified. The products are subject to intermediate and final testings, witnessed by the Customers.BOLDROCCHI can supply large equipment, mainly outsourced close to the final destination and giving on-site after sales service.

The Utilities and industrial Companies have adopted a new gas-turbine generation as ideal and low pollutant solution to satisfy the increasing energy demand.

Decades of uninterrupted experience and relationships with the most important Companies in the world have allowed Boldrocchi to step into this quickly developing market adapting its traditional technologies.As a matter of fact Boldrocchi has been designing noiseprotection since 1952 for all types of industrial applications. Over 400 inlet and exhaust silencing systems have been adapted for and installed in gas-turbine power plants all over the world.
