II. Roll Call Roll Call was taken by Della Pegolotti and those clubs absent were: B.s.u., Current A.L'fairs Club, Delphi, L.D.S.S.A., H.A.S.c., Student Bachelors Club, Uative Americans, Pro-Audio.

III. Approval of Agenda The agenda was approved as written.

Motion was moved and seconded to postpone election till next week. Hotion passed.

B. Approval of Club Constitution: Motion was moved and seconded to tentatively approve A.C.T. Club constitution. hotion passed.

c. Ad Hoc Commitkes hotion was moved cmci seconded Ecology Action, advisor: Hr. Nattkemper. Purpose: To stimulate an Interest in Ecology. llotion passed.

Motion was 1noved and seconded for Ad Hoc Committee for Student Registration. Advisor: Mr. Ray. Purpose: To Register students to vote specially to enable them to vote in the upcominf.: board of' trustees special election. Motion::..passed. _

Meeting #4 October 5. 1971

Chairman Greg Gray called the meeting to order at 12:10.

II. Roll Call Roll call was taken by Della Pegolotti and those clubs absent ' . .,ere: Ecology Club, Native Americans, Society of Military Affairs. Native Americans were fined $ 5.00 for two consecutive absences.

III. Approval of Agenda The agenda was approved as written.

IV. Apprcval of Minutes The minutes were approved as written.

v. Reports Greg reported that any club not sending a representative by Tuesday will be declared inactive.

VI. Old Business A. I.C.C. Vice-Chairman

It was moved and seconded that Karl Titz be I.C.C. Vice Chairmen. Motion passed.

B. Approval of Club Constitution It was moved and seconded to approve A~T club constitution. Motion passed.

C. From the floor none

VII. New Business A. Ad Hoc Committees

Motion was moved and seconded S.R.J.C. to Free Angela Davis Committee. Advisor, Mr. Ray. Purpose: To assure due process of law and justice are accorded Angela Davis. To provide information concerning the trial to all persons interested. Motion passed.

B. From the Floor ,.The' Baha'i Club mentioned it was planning a luncheon for club leaders.

VIII. Money Making Requests It was moved and seconded to approve request of:

Ecology Ad Hoc Committee to sale buttons and stickers. Motion passed.

French Club Oct. 10 ?a.m. Flea Mart in Sonoma, Nov. 9 a turkey raffel. On campus tickets 10¢. Oct. 12 for two weeks cup cake sale. On T W TH nights in front of the English temporary buildings. All motions passed.

Vets Book Co-Op for semester bre~. Motion passed.

Ski Club Oct 8. Coop hat chec~. Motion passed.

S.R.J.C.Committee to Free Angela Davis to sponsor filmed interview with angela Davis. Motion passed.

It was moved and seconded to disapprove Baha'i request to allow Hare Krishna on campus, It was moved and seconded to amend the main motion to read except for Monday, Wed. and Friday between 12&1. Amendment passed. Main motion to allow Hare Krishna on campus M\VF 12- 1 passed.

IX. Announc aments W.L.C. representative reported that due to a lack of interest in the Homecoming Contest which is traditionas - that tradition and pride inthe school is being lost. Once pride and tradition fall, clubs and student government will colapse and we will be left with a factory that turns out robots with Norton Reader industrialized in their minds.

Mr. Canevari reported on Homecoming. Election of five represent­atives will be tomorrow.

VI. Reports A. Chairman- Ski Club is sponsoring a blood drive.

B. Advisor- Mr. Canevari stated that Solano Junio:r College would like to sponsor a powder puff football game· with S.R.J.C. Ski Club volunteered. .

c. I.c.c. Rep. to c.s.A.- Stated that c.s.A. would like uc.c. opinion on dogs on campus.

D. President Dennis Duckett- Stated that he would like S.R.J.C. to start a comunity action committee to clean up the grave yard.

VII. Old Business A. It was moved and seconded to grant The Native Americans

appeal, to not pay . roll call fine ., due -t -o otner . P~essing circumstances. Notion passed.

VIII. New Business A. It was moved and seconded to approve Goju Kai Club

constitution. Motion passed.

B. From the Floor 1. The young Republicans a former club requested ad hoc status.

It was approved.

2. A representative from the S.R.J.C. band read a letter to the Vets Club.

3. The Vets Club requested a representative from the Oak Leaf Newspaper to be present at the I.C.C. meetings.

4. It .was moved and seconded to approve_~d hoc Peoples _ Health Committee. Advisor: Hr. Hudlow. Purpose:: To raise funds in support of Alianga•s Free Clj,.nic in Healdsburg. Also for future clinics to be set up in other areas of Sonoma County.

IX. Money making Requests It was moved and seconded to approve request of:

Ski Club bake sale at K-Mart and Coddingtown. Motion passed

X. Announcements Greg announced that all active clubs should fill out club information sheet.

IV. Approval of Minutes The minutes were approved as written.

V. Reports A. Advisor - Mr. Canevari a thanked- Ski Club and Karl Tietz for all

of its help in collecting 90 pints of blood for the blood drive. W.L.C. volunteered to sponsor the next blood drive.

VI. Old Business A. No old busines from the floor.

VII. New Business A. It was uoved nnd seconded to approve B.S.U. Club constitution.

c. From the Floor 1. It was moved and seconded to send a letter to C.S.A. stating

I.C.C. supports coop dances. That dances are a service for the students and are not ment to be a money making project. l-iotion passed.

2. Circle K stated that they would be donating profits from the next two home game concession stand profits to a girl named \vendy \orho is in need of a kidney machine. They asked if the other clubs would help donate.

VIII . Money Making Requests It was moved and seconded to approve r equest of:

B.S.U. to sponsor a coop dance Nov. 12. To sell Black Culture posters from Nov. 5, to the end of the semester. Motion passed.

V. Reports A. Candy Bell announced that a blood drive will be held Dec. 10

and W.L.C. will sponsor it. A group of two girls and 2 guys are needed for a Business ~lub Panel dealing with the issue The 18 year old vote.

VI. Old Business A. Cemetary Project - Ski Club, Agape & Womens Luncheon Club

offered to help clean up the cemetary.

B. From the floor 1. Donations for the w·endy Brellow fund wer:.EtJnade by:

A.G.S. ~~ 20, Women Luncheon Club a gift,·certificate, A.C.T. proceeds-frqm program sale• and Circie K profits from two home game conc.essions.

2. It was moved and seconded to send a letter in support of utilization of the present student activities office and present bookstore area after the completion of Pioneer ) Hall. Notion passed •
