Whether you want to advance your skills for general, academic or professional purposes, we can help you reach your goals. As an IEP student, you will improve your academic language skills for college-level coursework.

The IEP offers two levels of English instruction: Intermediate and Advanced. Students attend classes in listening/speaking, reading, writing, and grammar for four hours per day, Monday through Friday.

In addition to classroom instruction, students have access to the language lab for independent study and practice in the afternoon. All IEP instructors have many years of teaching experience and have lived in other countries.

Get Connected with NWTC“ My first week of classes here at NWTC; I must say that I loved it. It is very nice to see that I got a chance to meet so many students from different parts of the world with different goals and future dreams. Everyone here is very professional and the environment it’s just perfect. It can’t go wrong… It’s a pleasure being here!”

–NWTC Student from the Bahamas

“ Teachers’ treatment in my former university and NWTC is different. In my former university, most of my instructors are very strict. If you make mistakes, they will say you are wrong and they do not really know how to make students feel better after making mistakes even they learn about that. In NWTC, the instructors always give positive feedback and constructive suggestions…For example, in my English class, my instructor Monica always says “good job” or “great job” to appreciate my writing even if I made mistakes…After that, she will try to explain my mistakes in a positive way and motivate me to do better.”
