Intellivent’s Bag House dust collectoris high efficiency with the pulse jeton-line cleaning system whichprovides reliable, continuous dutyand easy maintenance.Dirty air enters the baghouse in theupper section, body or hoppersection of the unit and strikes adiffuser plate forcing heavier particlesto separate and drop out via gravity.Light particles are trapped by thefilter bags as the air passes through.Clean air then exhausts through thetop of the unit. The filter bags areenclosed in metal cages to providesupport and extend filter life.

The deep angled hopper design with continuous discharge air-lock insuresthe contaminants are removed and prevents re-entrainment of dust on thefilter, extending filter life.IVEC’s modular baghouse design ranges in size from 1000-36,000 ft^2 offilter area and capacity from 10,000 to 100,000 CFM and larger. TheIntellivent baghouse is suited to capture dust from fine powders to heavywood chips and foundry dust and the flexible design can be used in a widerange of temperature and ambient environments, including hygrosopicconditions. Typical applications include plastic, paper, fiberglass, sawdust,coal, and cement as well as many other irregular shaped contaminants.

Body or Upper Inlet:This type of entrance ispreferred for light weight,fibrous dust as it reduces airspeed at entrance and oncein the unit (Can Velocity).This allows collected dust tofall more readily into thehopper during the pulsecleaning process.
