300 Series
Intelligent Duct Smoke DetectorsDH300RP.tif
DescriptionThe DH300 Series photoelectric air duct smoke detectors feature an efficient housing design that samples air passing through an air handling system duct and detects if there is a developing smoke hazard. When sufficient levels of smoke are sensed, an alarm signal is initiated, which may be connected to a fire control panel monitoring the detector, and appropriate action can be taken to shut off fans and blowers, change over air handling systems, etc. This can isolate toxic smoke and fire gases or prevent their distribution throughout the areas served by the duct system.
The 300 Series modules will operate with both FlashScan and non-FlashScan systems; however, some of their features can only be utilized with FlashScan capable control panels.
Features• addressable, analog communication
• dual light-emitting diodes (LEDs)
• remote alarm output
