research groups focusing on big data. I suggest you check out

specific positions on Intel.com/jobs. We post new jobs all the

time so check back often.

@Majid Response times to applications can vary. Some

managers quickly review candidates and pick up the phone and

call for a phone screen. Others can take more time to review

their applicants. The best thing you can do is apply to all jobs

that you feel interested in and at least 80% qualified for! We

have many recruiters that review resumes and this is a good

way to be seen by all.

LOT of online traffic., BUT the people that get the most looks

are the people that actually apply for positions. Those pop to

the top of the recruiters screen when the set out to fill a

position. If all you do is create a profile, the chances you are

going to get looked at are small unless you have a REALLY

unique skill set.

positions to fill because most people don't think about Intel

when they think HVAC. The positions come up periodically, so

@Ariel - After you apply we will determine relative fit to a

specific job opening. The manager's will screen your resumes,

if there is a good fit, they will give you a phone screen and then

possibly an additional phone interview with a hiring team

member. Some groups get through this process in a few weeks

and others are more slow based upon their travel schedules,

availability to schedule phone screens, etc.

does not offer Unpaid internships. If you are an Intern, you get

fair, but it is EASY to stand out in a BAD way. Dress nicely,

shower, wipe off the sweaty palms, eat a breath mint! It may

@Hoang: Yup that does happen. We work hard to "Calibrate"

our managers on what to expect from an Inten or Recent grad,

but sometimes they don't listen to me. Hard to belive Huh? That

is why the more interaction you can have, the better. You only

need to meet that one person you have a connection with. You

are lucky that we go to yoru school so you can meet people

Face to Face. You can ask them why they engage or why they

don't. It might help you understand what else you need to do.

applies will be seen by a hiring manager. Our recruiters will

determine that top talent that applies and forward a short list of

candidates. Managers do not see everyone that applies to their

req. The best advice I would give to you is to customize your

resume so that it highlights the key skills for that posiition.

after that, it's all about the ability to impress your recruiter with

your knowledge. Tailoring a resume is something that every

candidate should do when applying to that specific position and

company, but does academic experience actually count as

experience when Intel asks for work experience?

or internship position for the Arizona facilities. I discussed this

possibility during my internship interview last summer, but I

have not heard anything back yet.

researchers here in Oregon are doing things that are bumping

up against the limits of physical laws. I suspect they consider

that pretty challanging
