Calculating Blended Overtime Rates

Blended OT Rates in GP
• Feature of Dynamics GP core Payroll• Determine average rate for the pay period• Includes regular wages, bonus, shift differentials, add-ons• Divide by number of hours worked within the pay period
• Result above is multiplied times a factor (usually 1.5)• Calculates automatically during payroll processing• Some variations to configuration based on payroll data• Example – only determining premium on OT hours
