Step 1 – New Custom Fields for Capturing Content
• Create a new String field in Marketo for the content submitted by prospects. If you don’t have rights to create fields, contact [email protected] to request a custom field

Step 2 – Create a plain text email in Marketo
• Make sure the “from” address is static – don’t use a token in this case.
• Include the custom token created in step 1 in the email body.

Step 3 – Create a Marketo Form / Landing Page
• Include the custom field from step 1 in the form.

Step 4(a) – Set up your Campaign in Marketo
• This campaign is triggered by filling out a form. Use a filter on your custom field of “is not empty” to prevent blank submissions.

Step 4(b) – Set up your Campaign in Marketo
• Content is sent into Compendium using the Send Alert flow action.
• Use the email created in Step 2, set the “Send to” value to “None.” Put the Compendium Email-to-Post address in the “To Other Emails” field.

After activating the campaign…
• Whenever a prospect fills out the form, their content is passed into Compendium.

Editing and publishing…
• And here is the content, now in Compendium and ready to be responded to and published!
