    Methodology

    P.K. Testing Nature walk. Take students in the garden for a nature walk.

    Make the students talk about what theyobserve. Come back in the class and askthem in group if they can identify the insects.

    Make a record chart for what they willlearn about the insects.

    Give word of the day: (Total group activity) Material needed : Pencil, word of the day

    activity paper, printed vocal words,pictures of insects.

    Procedure : Tell students that the word for the day is ant .

    S tudents sound out the word, then find theinitial sound of the word they speak out that isthe word of the day. Later they play a gamewhere each child has to speak few lines aboutant to enhance their verbal skills and with thehelp of teacher frame the sentences inEnglish.
