Responciple bodies for

occupational health:

• Ministry of labour and cocial affairs responsible for occupational Enviroment safety.

• Ministry of Health & Medical Education responsible for policy and decision making process as well as occupational health services and medical exam.

• Social security organization responsible for pre employment medical examination.

Main policies and programs:

• Integration of occupational health

services in PHC.

• Providing Occupational Health services in

three different levels:

• Occupational Health center for factories

more than 500 workers.

• Worker Health House for factories with 50-

500 workers.

• Behgar project for work places with 20-50

workers.

• Occupational Health Center should have at least one occupational medicine physician, occupational hygienist, Nurse

• Workers Health House should have occupational health expert (Bsc or trained person in this field

• Behgar project- one of the employess selected and trained for 6 months about occupational health and safety as well as first aids
