Advisory Council – Information and Intelligence Sharing
Taskforce In the Spring of 2002, a number of agencies were
asked to participate in an Information and Intelligence Sharing task force. The purpose of the task force was to make recommendations for sharing intelligence and information between critical sectors of law enforcement, public and environmental health, agriculture, private enterprise, and emergency management.

Department of Homeland Security Grant Program FY-04
Three Parts• FY 2004 SHSGP ($22, 650,000) - The FY 2004 State
Homeland Security Grant Program is being provided to enhance the capability of State and local agencies to prevent and respond to incidents of terrorism.
• FY 2004 LETPP ($6,721,000) - The Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program (LETPP) is the result of a concerted effort to increase the level of funding available for prevention efforts, and the law enforcement communities to provide a conduit for terrorism intervention.
• FY 2004 CCP ($470,000) - provides funds to Citizen Corps Councils with planning, outreach, and management of Citizen Corps programs and activities.

Fusion Center System
The Fusion Center is a centrally focused system that is regionalized in function to serve as the “clearing house” for all potentially relevant domestically generated homeland security data and information to ensure interpretation, assessment and preventive actions.
