Integers- negative and positive whole numbers, including zero.
Examples: -1, 3, 0, 4, 9, -3, 12 , 15

Integer Addition Rules• If the signs are the same, add the
numbers and keep the sign the same.
8 + 4 = 12-8 + -4 = -12

smaller number from the larger number and keep the sign of the bigger number.
