“I’ve been laying vinyl floor coverings for 27 years now, my brother 29 years and father around 50 years. Late 2010 we had to change from Masonite underlay to Intafloors Plywood, a change we thought would be hard due to how many years we worked with Masonite. But once we started with Intafloors Ply and discovered its light weight, easy to cut once you get used to it, bigger size sheets means less joins and again it took a little getting used to but we definitely wouldn’t go back to any other underlay. It’s water proof so there’s no need to use Hardies underlay in wet areas, a lot cleaner to work with, with less sanding required and less dust in the customers house is always a good thing. So far to date, touch wood, no problems with damp houses such as swelling, movement, joins showing through etc. All up Intafloors Ply underlay ticks all our boxes for an excellent product which I would recommend to use.”

Intafloors IFA575 is a general-purpose brush / roller grade adhesive, offering high heat resistance, high green strength and a long open time. Can be used for bonding a variety of materials including decorative plastic, laminates, wood, rubber, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, leather, fabrics and others. Not suitable for use on Expanded Polystyrene Foam, Polypropylene and Polyethylene plastics and copper.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Mix thoroughly before use. • Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry and

free from grease, oil, dust and other contaminants.• Application Instructions: Apply IFA575 to both surfaces

by brush or roller. Let the adhesive “tack off” to allow solvents to escape from the adhesive film, press both sufaces together.

LIMITATIONS

• Do not use on copper, expanded polystyrene foam or unsupported vinyl (PVC)

• May cause staining on light coloured PVC/ Vinyl stock• • Not suitable for polyethylene or polypropylene plastic

Ultra Stix Adhesive is a non-flammable water-based pressure sensitive adhesive designed for the installation of Modular Carpet Tiles. This adhesive can also be used for vinyl backed carpet tiles and most carpet pads in Dual Bold installations & VCT.

Available in 4lt and 15lt


• Surface Preparation: The floor must be sound, smooth, dry and clean. Remove any dirt, wax, loose paint, foreign matter and existing adhesive.

• Application Instructions: Ultra Stix adhesive is re-leasable when flooring is applied to dry adhesive and permanent when applied to wet adhesive. Spread the adhesive with a paint roller and allow to dry completely when a releasable installation is required.

CLEAN UP AND STORAGE

• Clean tools and equipment using soap and water while the adhesive is still wet. Dired or tacky adhesive will require a solvent cleaner. Store in a cool, dry place.

• 2 years from manufacture date

XL One Seam Sealer is a strong, solvent free adhesive designed for use with most types of carpet backings, including vinyl backings, polyolefins, latex unitary, urethane and woven backs. XL-One can be used on direct-glue and double-glue carpet installations to eliminate seam unraveling.

The secret of the Uni-Cutter is that the body and pressure plate are vertically adjustable so the cutter always makes a square cut, whether using a straight edge, or not. The replaceable nylon wear surfaces glide easily on a straight edge when double cutting, or on the flooring (without marking) when trace cutting. The Uni-Cutter blade can be extended up to 5/8” to allow cutting of almost all flooring materials. The wide handle reduces hand fatigue and is symmetrical to permit right or left handed use. The major metal parts of the Uni-Cutter are zinc die cast construction.
