Instructions on site1. Equipment needed:

1. Laptop Roof5 (make sure battery is charged!) 2. Tinytag USB Inductive Pad ACS-3030 (SN# 570340)3. Tissue

2. Go down to Lifeboat pier, ring the bell and say, you are coming from Kings to download temperature data.

3. The sensor is in the tube at the end of the peer on the right hand side.4. Take care when walking outside the railing – they provide life jackets.5. Open Tinytag Explorer, connect Inductive Pad to COM18.6. Dry data logger with tissue and place centred on USB pad7. Press button: download data by pressing ‘Get Data from the Logger’ button

in the tool bar.8. Press ‘Open the Table of readings view’ in the toolbar - The data will

be displayed as a table.9. Save data to C:\LifeboatTinytag\LBYYMMDD_YYMMDD.ttd with start and

end date.

Instructions back at Kings1. Press ‘Export data in other format’ in the toolbar, save file as

rawTwater_YYMMDD_YYMMDD.csv, again with start and end date.

2. Copy .ttd and .csv files to I:\Data\YYYY\London\ALL\TLI\3. Manually run D:\Roof\waterTemperature\RiverTempNCDF.m,

a Matlab script that converts .csv into netcdf format and updates KUMA content.
