Step 1. After the patient is draped, open the sterile pouch and remove the CSR wrap. Unfold C-Armor ® and present to another sterile team member. Step 2. Remove the release paper located on the top, left, and right sides to expose the adhesive tape. Step 3. Center C-Armor ® on the surgical site or area of interest, and adhere to the patient drape above the sterile field line. (Note: C-Armor ® should be applied before electrocautery or suction tubing are placed to avoid interference.) Step 4. Exert pressure on the adhesive using your hand from within the pouch to avoid contamination. Step 5. When lateral imaging is required, release C-Armor ® fastener tabs by gasping the support structure using your thumb and index finger. Step 6. Separate the fasteners by applying counter pressure toward the table with the middle, ring, and small fingers. Step 7. Expand C-Armor ® to allow the C-Arm to rotate into the sterile pouch. Step 10. Rotate the C-Arm back to the vertical position, collapse C-Armor ® toward the table and reconnect the fasteners. Step 8. Once the X-Ray tube is at the full lateral position, you may release C-Armor ® . C-Armor ® will hold its position above the sterile field line. Step 9.
