1. Setting of IP address on your Laptop

1.1 Right Click on

icon of Local Area

Connection (LAN)

1.2 Click on Properties

1.3 Go to Internet

Protocol (TCP/IP)

then clickProperties

1.4 Type in IP Address then click on OK

ALWAYS USE THE FOLLOWING:IP Address: 129.9.0.12

Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0

(No need to filed-up the Default gateway

and DNS)

2. Open the Web LCT application (pre-installed)

3. Type in your user name and password to Login

Username: admin

Password: T2000



4. To Search for a NE (Network Element), click NE Search

4.1 Click on NE SEARCH first

before you Add NE



Click on NE Search

first to Add NE

4.2 Click on SEARCH

Note: Domain is automatically

set (no need to input)



4.3 Click Add NE

Web LCT will search and detect available NEs

4.4 Available NE will appear

4.6 After pressing OK, all

available NE will be

added on the screen

(Communication Status

will be NORMAL)

5. To Login into the NE

5.1 Highlight the NE you want to login

5.2 Click on NE Login

6. To configure the NE, check if the Login Status then click on NE Explorer

7. Web LCT will automatically detect the available board/card on the Slot Layout

(with color )8. To install the cards, right click on the board then pressed ADD

10. Configuring NE attribute Site Name

10.1 Highlight NE

Attribute10.2 Double click

box under NAME

and type SITE

NAME. Then click

apply and query.

10.3 Click Modify

NE ID and a dialog

box will appear.

10.4 Type Site ID

based on plan

assigned by TNP.

NOTE: ID is aunique number.

and click OK, a

warning sign willappear. Click OK.

the NEW NE with modified ID

is highlighted before you go on process

of deleting.

NE Login and continued NE Configuration

10.17 A new NE was added to the list. Then higlighted the new NEW NE.

10.18 Click on NE LOGIN and adialog box will appear.

10.19 Enter the Password: password.

11. NE Cross-Connection Configuration

11.1 Highlight the NE Name

11.2 Scroll down the Configuration Menu

11.3 Click Cross-Connection Configuration.

11.5a Choose VC12 for LEVEL.

11.5b Choose Bidirectional for DIRECTION.11.5c Choose available IF or PH board and available slot installed as your SOURCE.

11.5d Select your desired timeslot range for SOURCE (example: 1, 2, . . 8 . . 16; 1-8; or 1-16)

11.5e Choose available IF or PH board and available slot installed as your DESTINATION.

11.5f Select your desired timeslot range for SINK (example: 1, 2, . . 8 . . 16; 1-8; or 1-16)
