How to use this selector guide

Substrate: Ferrous metal, galvanized metal and aluminumSurface preparation: All surfaces should be clean, dry and free of grease, oil or other contamination. All surfaces should be prepared in accordance with SSPC-SP2/3 minimum.

Devcryl 1440 Acrylic Primer and Matte Finish

Devcryl 1448 Acrylic DTM Enamel Semi-gloss

Low VOC*, water clean-up primer and finish. Built in rust inhibitors. Excellent color and gloss retention. Good for galvanized metal.

Devprime 1403 QD Alkyd Primer (or 1409 for Galvanized)

Devlac 1431 Alkyd Gloss Enamel (or 1437)

May be used in exterior or exterior applications where a high quality alkyd finish is desired. Hard glossy finish and good leveling.

Tru-Glaze- WB 4030 Epoxy Primer

Tru-Glaze-WB 4438 Epoxy Finish (or 4426/4428)

For interior surfaces where a chemical resistant and abrasion resistant system is desired. Low odor, soap and water clean-up.

Devran 201V Epoxy Primer

Devthane 379 Urethane Gloss Enamel

Extremely good color and gloss retention. Highly adherent epoxy primer will not disturb existing coatings. Long term protection.

Devran 203 WB Epoxy Primer

Interfine 1080 Single Pack Polysiloxane Gloss Finish

Maximum color and gloss retention in a single component polysiloxane finish. Low VOC waterborne corrosion resistant epoxy primer. Long term protection.

Substrate: Concrete, masonry and interior drywallSurface preparation: All surfaces should be clean, dry and free of grease, laitence, oil or other contamination. Floors require acid etching or shot blasting as a minimum surface preparation.




Low VOC, water clean-up primer and finish. Built in rust inhibitors. Excellent color and gloss retention. Good for concrete and drywall.

Tru-Glaze WB 4015 Acrylic Epoxy Block Filler


Low VOC, water clean-up primer and finish. Excellent color and gloss retention. Good for walls.

Tru-Glaze WB 4030 Epoxy Primer

Tru-Glaze WB 4438 Epoxy Finish (or 4426/4428)

For interior surfaces where a chemical resistant and abrasion resistant system is desired. Low odor, soap and water clean-up. Good for walls and floors.

Devran 224V High Build Epoxy


Extremely good color and gloss retention. High build, abrasion resistant epoxy. Long term protection.

Mild environmentsLocations:

Interior – Offices and public areas, doors, frames, pumps, piping and bathrooms.

Exterior – Walls, panels, pumps, structural steel, handrails, windows, signs, etc.

Typical exposure:

Infrequent spills or cleaning with mild chemicals and soaps, occasional abrasion, and mild environment.

May be used in interior and exterior applications where a low odor, single component, rust inhibitive system is desired. Very good color and gloss retention and fast dry.


Tru-Glaze- WB 4438 Epoxy Finish (or 4426/4428)

For interior surfaces where a chemical resistant and abrasion resistant system is desired. Low odor, soap and water clean-up. Highly adherent and corrosion resistant water-borne epoxy primer.






Maximum color and gloss retention in a single component polysiloxane finish. Low VOC waterborne corrosion resistant epoxy primer. Long term protection.



Extremely good color and gloss retention. High build, high solids epoxy prime coat aids in adhesion and provides abrasion resistance. Heavy duty solution.

Splashes, spills or cleaning with mild chemicals and soaps, occasional moderate abrasion, and moderate to coastal environments.

For immersion in a variety of exposures. Steel surfaces require SSPC-SP10 Near White Blast Cleaning for immersion or chemical exposures.

Bar-Rust 235 Multi-Purpose Epoxy


Surface tolerant epoxy provides excellent adhesion and corrosion protection. Urethane finish provides excellent finish with color and gloss retention.
