5. Reservation in vacancies: -
1. Apart trom the above mentioned category of Chhattisgarh state, all other applications (candidates from unreserved state of Chhattisgarh state and candidates of state other than Chhattisgarh state) will fall under unreserved category.
6. Probation Period: - Selected candidates will be appointed on probation of 03 years. The
following stipend shall be payable to the Govermment Servant selected on the posts of direct recruitment during the probation period of three years
First year 70 percent of minimum of the pay scale of the post;
Second year 80 percent of the minimum of the pay seale of the post;
Third year 90 percent of the minimum of the pay scale of the post Provided that during probation period. Other allowance along with stipend shall be received as
Government Servant.
b) On confirmation in the service or post after the expiry of the period of probation, the pay of the Government Servant shall be fixed at minimum in the time-scale applicable of the service or the post.
c) The Government Servant selected on the posts of direct recruitment also includes the
appointment of selected candidates through Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission.
7. Important Note - The candidate must have obtained the above mentioned educational
qualifications, registration certificates for other qualifications on or before the prescribed last date for application. The certificates of educational qualifications, registration and other qualifications issued on the date after the last date of application will not be valid.
8. The prescribed age should not be less than 18 years of age as on 01.01.2020 and must not exceed the age limit as indicated in the posts. But the maximum age limit for the local / native candidate of Chhattisgarh will be 40 years as per the rules of the Government of Chhattisgarh.
The higher age limit will be eligible for relaxation as follows as per the instructions issued by the General Administration Department, Chhattisgarh Government from tinme to time: -

)If the candidate is a native of the state, belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and
Other Backward Classes (Non Creamny Layer) notified by the Ciovernment of Chhattisgarh, then
he will be given a relaxation in the upper age limit upto five ycars.
(ii) The upper age limit will be 38 years in respect of permanent / temporary Chattisgarh government as well as for employees of corporations/ Boards ete. of Chhattisgarh state. This maximum age will also be acceptable for the employees working under the Project
Implementation Committee. (ii)A candidate who is a lay-off government servant, from his age, for a period of not more than 7
ycars for the entire temporary service done by him, even if that period is the sum of the services performed more than once. Will be allowed for but as a result the highest age limit should not
exceed three years. Explanation: "Retracted Government Servant" means a person who has been in the temporary service of this State (i.e. State of Chattisgarh) or any Constituent Unit for at least six consecutive months and who is required to register his name in Rojgar Office or should have been relieved due to lack of establishment in government service for more than three years
before the date of application. iv)Such candidates, who are ex-servicemen, will be allowed to reduce the duration of all immunity
services done by them earlier from their age, but the resulting age should not be more than three
years beyond the higher age limit. () As per circular number F3-1/ 2016 1-3 Naya Raipur, dated 11.01.2017 of General
Administration Departrment, there will be 10 years relaxation in higher age only for local
resident women of Chhattisgarh State.
(vi) According to General Administration Department circular no. F1-2 /2002/1/3 dated 02.06.2004 and number F 1-2/2002/1/3 dated 10 February 2006, education personnel/ panchayat personnel will be given relaxation for that year for recruitment in government service. For the year he has
served as a Shikshakarmi/ Panchayat Karmi, one year of service for more than 6 months can be
recognized and this exemption will be up to a maximum age of 45 years. (vii) In the case of Voluntary Home Guards (Voluntary Home Guards) and unfit officers, such
exemption for such period of service in the higher age limit will be given subject to the age limit of eight years, But in any case they must not exceed the age of 38 years.
(vii) There will be a relaxation of 05 years in the upper age limit for widows, abandoned and
work employees of
divorced women. (ix) Higher age limit in respect of Memorandum No. C-3/10/85/3/1 dated 28.06.1985 of General
Administration Department as per there will be a relaxation of 05 years in the higher age limit to the upper caste paticipants of the awarding couples under the Inter-caste Vivah Incentive
Scheme of Tribal, Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Welfare Department. (x) The recipients of "Shaheed Rajeev Pandey Award, Gundadhur Samman, Maharaj Pravir
Chandra Bhanjadev Samman and National Youth Award" prevalent in the state of Chhattisgarhwill be given a relaxation of 05 years in the general higher age limit.
(xi)According to the circular number F3-2/2002/1-3 Raipur dated 30.01.2012 of the Government of Chhattisgarh General Administration Department, the contractual appointees in the state will be given the same number of years relaxation This exemption will be up to a maximum age of
38 years. in the maximum age limit prescribed for submission of applications in government service for the number of years he has served as a contract.
(xii) According to the circular number F20-4/ 2014/ AP / 1-3 New Raipur dated 27.09.2014 and 17.11.2014 of the Government of Chattisgarh General Administration Department, relaxation of 05 yéars in the prescribed maximum age limit will be given to the persons with disabilities.
Tmportant note: -
1. According to the instructions given in the circular number F3-2 / 2002 1-3 Raipur dated 15.06.2010 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, Cieneral Administration Department, the maximum age for the local resident candidates of Chhattisgarh state is 35 ycars, but as per the instructions given in circular number F3-2 /2015 /1-3, Naya Raipur dated 30.01.2019, the maximum age for the local resident candidates of Chhattisgarh State will be 40 years instead of 35 years. But other special categories like Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer), women, ecte. who are the residence of Chhattisgarh. The relaxation given by the State government in the maximum age limit will remain in force and the general administration department will issue the age from time to time. The maximum age for appointment in government service will not exceed 45 years after including for all the categoríes types of age relaxation given to the candidates on the basis of instructions.
2. Age will be calculated with reference to date 01.01.2020.
9. Desired documents to be submitted before the interview: -
Before the interview, it will be mandatory to submit the attested copies of the following
certificates and marksheets either by themselves or by a gazetted officer along with the
attestation form, after which the qualification of the candidate will be examined-
1. High school /Higher secondary school or matriculation certificate or corresponding certificate
for the age proof. Other certificates will not be valid.
2. Mark Sheet of all the semesters / years related to the academic qualifications required for the
advertised post. 3. Candidates should ensure that the certificates related to the essential academic qualifications,
experience, registration and other qualifications desired for the post applied for are required by the last date of filing the application form to the Institute. Degrees/ other certificates issued on the date after the last date of application will not be accepted either Self-attested certificate of
academic qualifications required for the post, graduate/ post graduate degree, experience etc. or
duly certified by a gazetted officer for the post. 4. Caste Certificate:-
a. If the candidate is a native of the state of Chhattisgarh and falls in the category of SC/ST/ OBC
(Non Creamy Layer) and who apply online for availing the benefit of exemption (age / fee reservation) as indicated under this advertisement, will have to produce the permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
b. It is mandatory for married women candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes/ Scheduled Castes to submit caste certificates bearing father's name along with their names. It will not be accepted if caste certificate is not presented accordingly.
c. Reservation to Other Backward Classes is payable only on non creamy layer basis. Non creamy layer is determined on the basis of annual income. Therefore, the candidates belonging to Other
Backward Classes should also attach an income certificate as a proof of non creamy Layer candidates along with caste certificate which is issued within 3 years prior to the date of application.
d. If relaxation in the prescribed higher age limit is desired, then the following documents certificates must be submitted compulsorily: -
i. Candidates working in the service of the government on ad hoc basis are required to attach the relevant certificates.
ii. Certificate of Competent officer/Employer for relaxation in higher age limit as per clause of the
advertisement. ii. Sub-Divisional Magistrate or District Magistrate's certificate for relaxation in higher age limit as
per clause of the advertisement.
iv. Certificate of District Magistrate/ Sub Divisional Magistrate other competent off+icer authorized by the State Government for relaxation in higher age limit as per clause of the
advertisement. v. Proof of receiving "Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, Gundadhur Samman, Maharaja Praveer
Chandra Bhanjadev Samman and National Youth Award" for relaxation in higher age as per
clause of the advertisement. vi. Certificate of "contractual experience" issued by competent authority for relaxation in higher age
limit as per clause of the advertisement. vii. A certificate of "Disability issued by the competent medical authority" for relaxation in higher
age limit as per clause of the advertisement
10. No Objection Certificate of the employer: 1. If the candidates are employed in the service of government department/ corporation
Board/Undertaking under the Govemment of Chhattisgarh or are employed in nationalized
private institutions and any university, then they can apply. But before applying or immediately
after that they should then secure their application by receiving an acknowledgment requesting their appointment authority / Head of Office to send a "No Objection Certificate" directly to the
Institute. 2. If such candidates are invited for interview by the Institute, a copy of the application submitted
should be produced to the Appointing Authority / Head of Office for issuing no objection
Certificate before the interview and acknowledgment given by the Appointing Authority / Head
of the said application ( in which the date of receipt of the application is also mentioned). 3.If the candidate fails to present the "No Objection Certificate" as mentioned above, then in such a
situation he will be interviewed but in the event of selection, if he is unable to produce 'NOC'
the concerned institution. His appointment may get canceled. If this situation arises, there will be
no responsibility of the concerned Department/ Commission/ Governance and no representationof such candidate will be accepted in this regard.
11. Criminal prosecution: -
A. Such a candidate wil be convicted for criminal prosecution which the Institute has found guilty
due to following reasons
1. Who has received or attempted for any support manner for his candidature in an examination or
interview, or
2. Have impersonated, or
3. Has/has been impersonated by a person, or
4. Fake documents or documents that have been tampered with, or 5. False information at any stage of selection, or have hidden substantial information, or
6. Have adopted any other irregular or improper means for entering the examination/ interview, or 1. Used or attempted to use improper means in the examination/ interview room, or 8. Has trained or threatened or physically harmed employees engaged in conducting exam
interview, or ede
9 Violated any instructions or other instructions given to candidates in the letter / call letter, including the instructions given orally as per the arrangement established by the Head of the
Center engaged in conducting the examination, or
10. Misbehaved in the examination hall or in any other manner during the interview, or
11. Violated the banned use of mobile phone/ communication device in the premises of the Examination Center.
Apart from criminal prosecution against the candidates found guilty due to above mentioned B. reasons, the following actions can also be taken against them; -
1. The candidate may be revoked by the institution for which he/she is a candidate and/or
2. It will be barred either permanently or for a specific period from
a. Examination to be taken by the Institute or selection made by it.
b. May be denied employment by or under the State Government, and
c.If he/she is already the service under the government, disciplinary action can be taken for violation of the above, Provided that no penalty shall be levied as a result of the above
proceedings, unless
1. The candidate has not been given an opportunity to present such representation in writing, which he would like to make in this regard, and
2. The representation submitted within the period allowed by the candidate should not be considered.
12. Disqualification:
According to Rule 6 of Chhattisgarh Civil Services Rules 1961 (General Conditions of Service),the disqualifications will be as following. 1. Any male candidate who has more than one wife alive and any female candidate who has
married a person, who already has one wife, will not be eligible for appoint1ment to any service post. But if the government is resolved by the fact that there are special reasons for doing so, then it will be able to exempt such candidates from enforcement of this rule.
2. No candidate shall be appointed to any service or post till the time he is appointed in such health examination as may be prescribed mentally and physically, and if not found free from any mental or physical illness that may impede the service or duty of the post. But in exceptional cases a candidate may be temporarily appointed to a service or post before his health examination subject to the condition that his services may be terminated immediately if he is found unfit due to health conditions. 3. A candidate shall not be eligible for appointment to any service or post, if, after such inquiry, as deemed necessary, the appointing authority is resolved to the point that he/she is not in any way suitable for the service or post. 4. No candidate who has been convicted of any crime against woman will not be eligible for appointment to any service or post. But as far as such cases are pending in the court against a candidate, the matter of his appointment will be kept pending till the final decision of the criminal case.

5. Any candidate who has married before the minimum age fixed for marriage will not be eligible
for appointment to any service or post.
13. Selection Process: The selection of the candidate for the post of Lecturer and Assistant
Lecturer by the Institute will be done by technical Skill test and interview by limiting (screening
out) the number of candidates for interview on the basis of prescribed minimum qualifications or
higher qualifications or both. Based on the educational qualification and experience, a merit list
will be made and the applicant will be invited for technical skill test and interview. The merit list
will be determined by the competent authority on the basis of eligibility criteria.
Note: If the number of applications received for the advertised post is more, then the selection
will be done as follows:
1. The selection of the candidate for the post of Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer will be done
through technical Skill test and interview.
2. The examination Center and examination plan will be published in Chhattisgarh Tourism Board

14. Application Fee: -
. Natives/ local residents of Chhattisgarh, who fall under the category of chhattisgarh's notified
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes Rs. 350/, Other Backward Classes (non creamy layer)
notified for Chhattisgarh, Rs 400/- (Rupees Four hundred) application fee will be payable and
for applicants reside outside Chhattisgarh and rest other categories Rs 500 / - (Rupees Four
hundred) would be payable as application fee.
2. The candidate can apply for more than one advertised position, having the necessary educational
qualifications. The candidate will have to pay the prescribed fee separately for each post.
15. Payment of travel expenses- The Institute will have the right of selection/interpretation of important instructions/ information
etc mentioned in this release. Representation submitted by any candidate in this regard will not
be accepted and the decision taken by the institute will be final and binding on the candidate.
16. Attached certificate and documents should be attested by Gazatted Officer/Self attested, no
requisition would be considered for enclosing any document afterwards.
