Audacity is the example shown in this presentation.

Select the application you wish to download.

Portable Audacity for example

Click on the download button

Select a location to save the file on your computer

A folder on your desktop is a good place as it is easy to find.

Wait while the application is downloaded to your computer.

You now need to install the audacity portable sound recording on your removable disk (memory stick)

Firstly locate the audacity portable file that you downloaded

Double click on the file

Click on Run

Click on Next

Click on Browse then select your usbremovable disk as a location to install the portable application of Audacity

Click on Removable Disk as your installation location and click OK.

Now click InstallNote it is going to be installed on F (Removable Disk)

Wait while audacity is being installed on the Removable Disk.

Click Finish

Double click the AudacityPortable folder to locate the audacity program that will run from your removable disk on any computer.
