Crown introduces DriveCore Install series powerampliers: the new standard for installed soundCrown Audio has announced the introduction o DriveCore

Install (DCi) Series power ampliers. Successor to the compa-

nys acclaimed CTs Series, the new DCi stereo and multichan-

nel ampliers incorporate a host o improvements includingHARMANs exclusive DriveCore technology to set new stan-

dards in reliability, sound quality, exibility and efciency.

At the heart o the DCi Series is the

proprietary DriveCore amplier IC chip,

which combines the amplier driver

stage into the power output stage along

with additional audio-signal unctions, yet is about

the size o a postage stamp, dramatically reducing

size and power consumption requirements.

The DCi Series comprises o twelve models ranging

rom 300 watts to 600 watts (into 4 and 8 ohms and

70Vrms and 100Vrms) with 2, 4 or 8 channels peramplier.

The DCi Network models

include network monitoring

and control over Ethernet,

BLU-Link digital audio

transport, GPIO and digital signal processing. DCi

Analogue ampliers integrate into control and

monitoring systems over Ethernet.

Crown DCi Series ampliers are built or the most

demanding conditions o continuous proessional

use and carry a 3-year, no-ault ully transerrablewarranty.

The IDX Inormation Delivery System employs proprietary HARMAN and Com-
