Chapter 1 Introduction

Thank you for purchasing Welltech VoIP devices.

Installation Wizard is a friendly software tool that can provide you an easy way to

configure your WellTech VoIP devices. You only need to Input the MAC address of your

product and Click [Search Device]; you can configure your VoIP device without changing

your PCs setting.

Additionally, when you forget IP address of the VoIP device, Installation Wizard gives

you a solution to solve this problem.

Note:

When you use Installation Wizard, your Installation Wizard server and the Welltech

VoIP device must connect with the same hub.

Installation Wizard server mustconnect to the VoIP devices WAN

port.

Chapter 2 Install Installation Wizard

System Requirements

These are the minimum system requirements for PC to installInstallation Wizard

:

400MHz Pentium II

64MB RAM

10MB Hard Disk Space

Windows 98 or later

WinRAR or WinZip installed

Installing Installation Wizard

To install the Installation Wizard, follow the steps 1~6 on this guide.

step 1. Please unzip Installation Wizard and extract all files in one folder.

step 2. Double-click [Setup.exe] to begin installation.

step 3. The Welcome Screen will appear, click [Next] to continue.

step 4. Choose Destination Location: select the directory that you want to install,

and click [next] to continue.

step 5. Select Program Folder: type the program name, and click [next] to

continue.

step 6. After installation, the wizard will inform you the installation is successful.

Click [Finish]to exit the installer.

Chapter 3 Uninstall Installation Wizard

step 1. Click [Start] on the Windows taskbar.

step 2. Click [Control Panel] or open [Settings] and click [Control Panel] to enter

it.

step 3. Double-click [Add or Remove Programs]or[Add/Remove Programs]

step 4. Select [Installation Wizard] in the list of programs.

step 5. Click [Add/Remove] or [Change/Remove].

step 6. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Installation Wizard.

Chapter 4 Installation Wizard Configuration

Step 1. Enter the Installation Wizard

From the windows desktop, click [Start] > [Programs] > [Installation Wizard] >

[ Installation Wizard]

Step 2. Input the MAC setting When you enter Installation Wizard, you will find that Installation Wizard will

automatically detect your PCs IP setting.

Click[MAC setting]

Add: Press [Add] to add the MAC address (user can find on a label at the bottom

of device with format 0001a8xxxxxx).

Delete: If you want to remove the MAC address from the list, please choose

[Delete] then [Apply].

Apply: Press [Apply] to apply the setting. Exit: click [Exit] to exit this screen.

Step 3. Search Device After adding the MAC address, click [Search Device]. The MAC address will

appear in the CPE network settingarea.

Click [MAC address] which appears in the CPE network settingarea, and then

the device information will appear as bellow.

Note:

The Installation Wizard only support Static IP and DHCP mode, so if your device is under

PPPoE mode, the Installation Wizard cannot find out the VoIP devices IP address.

If the VoIP device is under PPPoE mode now, user can use COM port to find out the IP

setting.

If the VoIP device is IAD series gateway, please use the LAN port to get the WAN port IP

setting.

After searching the information of the device, you can use web management

interface to configure the device by clicking [Advance Setting] directly.

User can configure the IP setting directly here then click [Apply Change]. The

VoIP device will change the setting and reboot automatically.

User can also configure EMS setting, and then click [Apply EMS Change] to

save the setting. The VoIP device will reboot automatically.
