Installation requirements

for running MySQL for Windows, you need the following: a 32-bit Windows operating system, such as 9x, Me, NT, 2000, XP, or

Windows Server 2003.

It is strongly recommended the use of an operating system based on Windows

NT (NT, 2000, XP, 2003) since these allow you to run the MySQL server as a

service.

Support for TCP/IP protocol. A copy of the binary distribution of MySQL for Windows.

Note: If you are downloading the distribution via FTP, it is recommended thatthe use of a FTP client that possesses the proper resume feature (resume) toprevent the corruption of files during the download process.

A tool able to read files .zip to unzip the distribution file. Enough space on hard disk for unzip, install, and create the databases

according to your requirements. It is generally recommended that a

minimum of 200 megabytes.

May also require the following optional items:

If you plan to connect to the MySQL server via ODBC, you must have adriver Connector/ODBC

If required tables with a size greater than 4GB, MySQL must be installedon an NTFS file system or later. Creating the tables should not forget the

use of MAX_ROWS and AVG_ROW_LENGTH.

Installing MySQL 5.6

1. Search for the location of the example file mysql.exe to right-click andselect the Install option.

22.To give click finish on the earlier sale opens the main market of MySQLWorkbench.
