Electrical power supply (220/400 V)

Received response from the groups responsible for mercury loop, optical diagnostics, cryogenics, particle detectors and beam diagnostics. Sufficient input for releasing installation request.

The power outlets will be installed in TT2 next to the racks (see ACAD drawing). Installation scheduled for October 2006

“Open” issues: Optical diagnostics asked for 110 Volt

Is this really required? Can it be provided by the Hg loop system, which has already internally 110V supplies?

Hg loop Power cable (not conform with IS23) can be adapted in place at CERN.

US plugs can be exchanged/adapted in place at CERN.
