CHAPTER 1 Installation Task Flow forWindows Mobile

This task flow defines a path for installing Sybase® Mobile Workflow for SAP® BusinessSuite onto Sybase Unwired Server and setting up deployment of the Sybase Mobile Workflowclient to a Windows Mobile device.

1. Review system and device requirements. See Chapter 3, Planning Your Installation onpage 5.

2. Install Sybase Unwired Platform 1.5.2 Deployment Edition. See the Sybase UnwiredPlatform 1.5.2 Installation Guide > Installation Task Flows.

3. Upgrade the Sybase Unwired Platform version 1.5.2 installation to version 1.5.5. See thecover letter for EBF 18442.If you have previously upgraded your Sybase Unwired Platform version 1.5.2 installationto version 1.5.3, upgrade that 1.5.3 installation to version 1.5.5. See the cover letter forEBF 18442.

4. Set up a Security Configuration on your Unwired Platform installation with theappropriate security configuration for Mobile Workflow in your environment. See OnlineHelp for Sybase Control Center > Configure > Configuring Unwired Platform > SecurityConfigurations > Creating a Security Configuration.Each user's user name in your system must match the user name for that user in the SAPback end.

5. Authorize a particular user to issue workflow notifications to Unwired Platform. SeeSystem Administration for Sybase Unwired Platform > Enterprise Mobility > DataRefresh Data Flow > Data Synchronization and Data Refresh > Data Change NotificationData Flow > SUP DCN User Role.

6. Install Sybase Mobile Workflow for SAP Business Suite on Sybase Unwired Server. SeeChapter 4, Installing Sybase Mobile Workflow on page 9.• Download and install the SAP Java Connector (JCO) files.• Configure your SAP ERP system to work with Mobile Workflow.• Run the installer from the installation media.

7. Review the installation. See Chapter 5, Reviewing the Installation on page 13.8. Register each device using Sybase Control Center so it can connect to Unwired Server. For

each device, note the user name, Unwired Server name, Unwired Server port number, relayserver farm ID (if applicable), and activation code.See Sybase Control Center > Configure > Configuring Unwired Platform > Device Users> Devices > Messaging Devices > Registering and Setting Up Messaging Devices.

9. Assign the SAP Workflow to each device using Sybase Control Center.

CHAPTER 2 Installation Task Flow for iPhone

This task flow defines a path for installing Sybase® Mobile Workflow for SAP® BusinessSuite onto Sybase Unwired Server and setting up deployment of the Sybase Mobile Workflowclient to an iPhone device.

1. Review system and device requirements. See Chapter 3, Planning Your Installation onpage 5.

2. Install Sybase Unwired Platform 1.5.2 Deployment Edition. See the Sybase UnwiredPlatform 1.5.2 Installation Guide > Installation Task Flows.

3. Upgrade the Sybase Unwired Platform version 1.5.2 installation to version 1.5.5. See thecover letter for EBF 18442.If you have previously upgraded your Sybase Unwired Platform version 1.5.2 installationto version 1.5.3, upgrade that 1.5.3 installation to version 1.5.5. See the cover letter forEBF 18442.

4. Set up your Unwired Platform installation with the appropriate security configuration foryour environment. See Online Help for Sybase Control Center > Configure > ConfiguringUnwired Platform > Security Configurations > Creating a Security Configuration.Each user's user name in your system must match the user name for that user in the SAPback end.

CHAPTER 3 Planning Your Installation

Before you install or upgrade, plan your environment. View the Release Bulletin for the latestinformation on system requirements and patches.

1. Make sure your system meets all the requirements for your installation scenario.2. Install the prerequisites.

CHAPTER 4 Installing Sybase MobileWorkflow

Configure your SAP ECC system. Install SAP Java Connector files on every node in thecluster where Sybase Unwired Server is installed. Install Sybase Mobile Workflow on theprimary node only.

Prerequisites

• Install the Deployment Edition of Sybase Unwired Platform version 1.5.2. See InstallationGuide for Sybase Unwired Platform 1.5.2 > Installation Task Flows > Deployment(Production) Edition Task Flow.

• Upgrade the Sybase Unwired Platform version 1.5.2 installation to version 1.5.5. See thecover letter for EBF 18442.If you have previously upgraded your Sybase Unwired Platform version 1.5.2 installationto version 1.5.3, upgrade that 1.5.3 installation to version 1.5.5. See the cover letter forEBF 18442.

• Set up a Security Configuration on your Unwired Platform installation with theappropriate security configuration for Mobile Workflow in your environment. • Verify that you are logged in with administrative rights.• Verify that Unwired Server and Sybase Control Center are running.

Task

These instructions are written specifically for installation in a Sybase Unwired Platformcluster. If you are installing Mobile Workflow in a single-server installation of UnwiredPlatform, just do each step once on that server.

1. Download and install the SAP Java Connector (JCO) files on each cluster node whereUnwired Server is installed.

See Installation Guide for Sybase Unwired Platform 1.5.2 > Environment Setup > EISConnections > Preparing Unwired Server to Connect to SAP using Java Connectors.


2. Shut down and restart Unwired Server on all cluster nodes.

3. With Unwired Servers running, configure your SAP ERP system to work with MobileWorkflow. See the Sybase Mobile Workflow 1.2 Whitepaper:

• Open http://www.sybase.com/products/mobileenterprise/mobileworkflowforsapbusinesssuite in a browser.

• Click the White Papers link in the left side panel.• Click the link for the Sybase Mobile Workflow for SAP Business Suite Whitepaper.

4. On the primary server node of the cluster, verify that Unwired Server and Sybase ControlCenter are running, then start the installer program, setup.exe, from the installationmedia.

5. On the installer welcome page, click Next.

6. Accept the terms of the license agreement.

a) Select the appropriate geographic location and read the license agreement.b) Click I Do Agree to the Terms of the Sybase License, for the Install Location

Specified, then click Next.

7. Enter the administrator's Admin User and Admin Password, and the Domain Name fordeploying the Mobile Workflow product, then click Next.

8. Enter the name of the Security Configuration to use with Mobile Workflow, and theendpoint connection information for SAP, then click Next.

The Security Configuration entry must match the name of the entry you set up on yourUnwired Platform installation, that has the appropriate security configuration for MobileWorkflow in your environment. Each user's user name in your system must match the username for that user in the SAP back end. See System Administration for Sybase UnwiredPlatform > Security Administration > Security Layers > User Security Setup.

SAP default values – use these unless you know that your SAP system requires differentvalues. If you are not sure, contact your SAP system administrator.• Initial Codepage: 1100• Language: EN, DE, FR, or ES, depending on your SAP system configuration

9. Verify the installation details on the summary screen and click Install.

10. Click Finish when you see a message saying that installation completed successfully.

11. Log into Sybase Control Center and navigate to Connections, in the domain you specifiedin step 7.

12. On the Connections tab, under Connection Pool Name, selectSMW_SAP_Default_Endpoint_local, and click Properties.

13. Click Test Connection.

You should see a "ping successful" message. If not, recheck the values of the propertieslisted and make any changes necessary in the Value column of the Edit Connection Pooldialog. Click Test Connection again. Repeat this process until you see a "ping successful"message.

14. Navigate to Workflows > Mobile Workflow.

15. On the Context Variables tab, make sure that the value for SupDomain reflects thedomain specified in step 7, and that the values for SupUser and SupPassword containvalid credentials for the Security Configuration specified in step 8.

CHAPTER 5 Reviewing the Installation

In addition to the verification steps in the installation process, locate these files in theinstallation directories to ensure Sybase Mobile Workflow installed correctly.

By default, Sybase Mobile Workflow installs in the SMW for SAP Business Suitedirectory under %SUPInstallation% . Sybase Mobile Workflow also installs files inother directories under %SUPInstallation% . Check the folders and files listed belowto review the installation.

Two ZIP files for and one JAR file:

• MobileWorkFlow.zip – WorkflowPackage that can also be used to deploy di-rectly via SCC into the SUP runtime.

• SMW-JCO.zip – contains the designerprojects for the MBO package as well as WFpackage.

• SUP_MWF.jar – is the deploymentpackage for MBO package for integrationwith SAP ERP.

The main Mobile Workflow installation log file,WorkflowInstall.log.


CHAPTER 6 Posting Client Files for Users toDownload

Ensure that Sybase Mobile Workflow clients are available to users.

Users can download the iPhone client though the App Store. You must provide a means forusers to download Windows Mobile clients.

1. Determine how you want users to download each client:

• App Store is the source for the iPhone client. Users may download the iPhone clientthrough iTunes, or directly from the App Store to the device.

• Arrange a location on a company Web server where you can post the Windows Mobileclients for users to download. From the device, users should be able to simply execute alink to the appropriate client file in this location to download the client to the device.

2. Copy the Sybase Mobile Workflow clients for Windows Mobile from this location to thedownload location on the Web server:

3. For Windows Mobile, record the necessary information to supply to users.

Translate the file system location for each client file on the Web server into an executableURL that you can supply to users in text or e-mail messages.


CHAPTER 7 Uninstalling

Uninstall Sybase Mobile Workflow through Sybase Control Center and the SAP ECC system.

1. From the SAP ECC system, turn off the mobile user flag for all users. See the SybaseMobile Workflow 1.2 Whitepaper:

• Open http://www.sybase.com/products/mobileenterprise/mobileworkflowforsapbusinesssuite in a browser.

• Click the White Papers link in the left side panel.• Click the link for the Sybase Mobile Workflow for SAP Business Suite Whitepaper.

2. From Sybase Control Center, delete the workflow for Sybase Mobile Workflow from theWorkflows folder. See Sybase Control Center > Configure > Configuring UnwiredPlatform > Workflows.

3. From Sybase Control Center, delete the package for Sybase Mobile Workflow. See SybaseControl Center > Configure > Configuring Unwired Platform > Packages.

4. In the file system, remove the %SUPInstallation%\SMW for SAP BusinessSuite\ folder.




CHAPTER 8 Reinstalling

To reinstall Sybase Mobile Workflow, completely uninstall it, then install it again using theinstallation media.

Prerequisites

• Verify that the workflows from the previous installation of Sybase Mobile Workflows havebeen deleted. See Sybase Control Center > Configure > Configuring Unwired Platform >Workflows.

Task

1. Uninstall Sybase Mobile Workflow.

2. Insert the installation media and install Sybase Mobile Workflow.
