1 OBJECTIVE OF THIS DOCUMENT

This document provides details of installing SAP Gui 7.10 Update on a client machine. A full guide is required below, including every single screen shot of the installation of this application. This can only be done once the installations of all the pre-requisites are done.

1.1 Document Conventions

In this document the following conventions will be used:

XXX – represents the abbreviated name of the region region – represents the full name of the region XXXXS – represents the first five characters of the name of the server MACHINE_NAME – represents the Computer Name of the client machine

2 APPLICATION SETUP

2.1 Pre-requisites SAP Gui 7.10 Regional or BIS

2.2 SAP GUI Patch 15 Installation Execute “gui710_15-10002995.exe” from the “SAP Gui 7.10 Patch 15” folder, click Next.

Click Done.

Remove “Tweak SAP GUI” icon from all users desktops.

2.3 SAP Business Explorer 7.10 Patch Patchlevel 1100 Installation Execute “bi710sp11_1100-10004472.exe” from the “SAP Business Explorer 7.10 Patch Patchlevel 1100”

folder, click Next to continue.

Click Done.

Create new shortcut called “Analyzer 7 for SAB“ in the “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Business Explorer” folder.

o Shortcut must Execute: “C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP Shared\BW\BExAnalyzer.xla”o Ensure Icon is set to the same as the file: “C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP Shared\BW\

BExAnalyzer.xla”o Shortcut needs to have Read\Execute rights for all users that logon to the machine.

2.4 Business Explorer 3.50 Add-On Patch for SAP Gui 7.10 Installation Execute “bw350gui710_8-10004473.exe” from the “SAP Business Explorer 3.50 Add-On Patch for SAP

Gui 7.10” folder, click Next to continue.

Click Done to continue.

2.5 SAP Gui Print Service Installation Execute “xSPrint_23-10004336.exe” from the “SAP Gui Print Service” folder, click Next to continue.
