Chi-Rho's Wednesday Night Swim & Study Tomorrow Night at Sequoia Swim and Tennis Club! Open to all students entering 6th grade - 9th graders.
It's totally free to swim but bring a few dollars if you want to buy a snack at the club. We meet from 5:00 p.m. (at the sign in booth) - 7:00 p.m. for time at the pool and a Devotional/Bible Study with one of our adult leaders (Christy Brown, Lisa Pitts and Trey Flowers).

Hymn Choir Starts This Sunday!
When do we rehearse? Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the choir room.Do I have to read music? No. The anthems will be well-known hymns with which you are familiar.Do I have to wear a robe? No.Will we process? No.Is this user-friendly? Yes, very.Can I miss a week during the four week period? Yes. Two, if you must.Since this is a hymn choir, are hers invited, too? Yes, definitely!

Time Well SpentWoodmont has supported Better Decisions, a nonprofit organization that teaches decision-making skills to inmates at the Tennessee Prison for Women for many years. Woodmont women have experienced first-hand the satisfaction that comes from mentoring an incarcerated woman throughout their 8-week program. Please consider being a mentor. The commitment involves attending volunteer training (only once a year) the weekend of Aug. 22-23 (9-noon on Saturday, 1-6 on Sunday), meeting with your inmate partner for one hour weekly during the weeks Sept. 6-Oct. 25, and attending graduation at 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 2. Recommended Summer Reading Titles are available in the Spire Bookstore Sunday mornings. Titles in blue are also available in the library. The library is located next to the choir loft on the organ side of the sanctuary. Titles in blue are on the cabinet display shelf. The library operates on the honor system. Please follow the instructions on the desk for checking books in and out.
