2011 was a very good and crazy year for us at Inspire Magazine. We reached 24 new states in our monthly distribution and over 1 million new online subscribers. We could not have had this success without your loyalty.

We are so thankful to be able to cover some of the most breath taking weddings and engagements imaginable. We thank the world for giving us the oppurtunities to have one of the best jobs one could ask for.

Also, I need to give a big shout out to Phillip Heuy for his remarkable online publication writing ability. He had the most comments and passionate followers out of all of our online publication writers. Kudos to you!

A big question I get a lot is: What do I wear? What are some good tips? Here are a few tips for a successful photo shoot.

Solid Colors Over PatternsThis is definitely the way to go. Its best to avoid patterns and clothing that is too trendy. If you wear very trendy clothes you may look back at your photos and say to yourself: “Why did I wear that?!” You can avoid both of those by wearing solid colors.

Don’t MatchIt’s easy for matching couples to look tacky. Unless you are taking a family portrait and want to be all matching, avoid this!

ComfortComfort is crucial! We want you to be you in your photos. That is not achievable if you aren’t comfortable in your own clothes. If heels are a part of your photo shoot outfits, make sure you bring flats too! If you are comfortable, you’ll look more con-fident in your photos!

Be YouThis is the most important tip. We want your personality to show through because your photo shoot is all about you! Get good sleep the night before your photo shoot! The last thing you want is to be tired, have bags under your eyes, have blood shot eyes, etc. etc.
