I got my inspiration from the Music video Ne-yo Miss Independent Video

BRIEF Info about the video

I choose this video as inspiration because it’s a video about young independent women working in a media based firm which relates to my character (Nia) due to her being a journalist so I watched this video and got ideas on style and props from it

• Hair tied to the side in a bun

• no earrings in her ears• Navy Blue shirt

• Patterned tights worn under her skirt

• This adds a bit of sexiness to the formal wear which shows formal doesn’t mean boring

• Reading a newspaper in his spear time

• There's a telephone, computer and a briefcase/ bag used which I will used for my final for props

• The professional look with the folder in her hand

• Make up used eyeliner and foundation with a bit of blush ( glamorous natural look)

• All ladies wearing heels shows maturity and class of the ladies the fact that the heels are black represents a serious look
