Insilvis DESERT FLOWER, coat stand. Slender and abstract like hieroglyphs, as light as handwritten messages, these synthetic flowers interpret the part of one’s personality that is never revealed - the unconscious and individual spirit, the intimate and restless aesthetic sense that is sometimes out of rational control. Desert flowers: besides the usefulness of hanging a garment, they offer an emotional rhythm, a lyrical moment in the day, and enhanced visual quality. Individual or personal coat stands: recognition of the precious uniqueness of the individual is the foremost foundation for distinguishing the essential reciprocity that exists between the individual and the social or family group. The piece is personalized by the finish and shape of the terminal knobs: truncated cones, contoured spheres, egg-like shapes, depressed spheres, and spindles with masculine or feminine inflections, both sharp-cornered and soft.
