Crime Prevention Specialist Darlene Kittridge of the San Ramon Police Department will discuss personal, vehicle and home security and offer key tips for staying safe in various locations and situations, as well as how to spot suspicious persons and behaviors and who to call when you do.

What is Your Business Approach / Philosophy? First and foremost, we organize our clients’ finances so that they understand their financial health today. What is the Biggest Challenge in Your Work? Finding the right talent is always the biggest challenge, as we look for integrity,

intelligence, and independence, all within an entrepreneurial spirit.

What is the Best Aspect of Your Work? I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else. I work with the best financial planners in the business and live a life of service to others. Seeing to happy clients and associates is my personal responsibility.

Least Favorite Task: Paperwork.

What Makes You Excel? My passion to be a better man today than when I awoke yesterday.

How Would You Advise Young Professionals? Don’t be a second rate version of someone else. Be the best version of yourself. Confidence comes when you can walk out of the fire, but you have to walk into it first. Along the way, be frugal, humble and save your money.

Is There a Goal You Still Want to Achieve? Raising my wonderful son and asking my wife for another baby.

What is Your Favorite Pastime? Traveling to far off countries to experience new cultures.

How Do You Handle Stress? Exercise and meditation.

Favorite Vacation Spot: Visiting family in Taiwan and seeing my mother and friends in SoCal.

Favorite East Bay Restaurant: Amakara—the best sushi restaurant in California.

Favorite Music or Other Form of Art (Theater? Film? Visual Arts?) I still have a soft spot for rock and jazz.

Is There a Special Cause That You Support? Tzi Chi Foundation, a Buddhist organization that is a cross between the kindness of Mother Theresa and the mission of the Red Cross.

Bike Sharing Is Coming To Bishop RanchBishop Ranch will soon launch a new bicycle share program, providing the employees of Bishop Ranch tenants and Chevron Park with 100 share bikes located across Bishop Ranch. Our bike share program, managed by CycleHop, will use “SoBi” Social Bicycles software and electronics. You can reserve the bikes from the web, a mobile app or the keypad of the bike itself and use the GPS-tracked bike for as long as needed.
