Ah yes, another blog on what do you want and how do you get there. Seems to be something worth talking about. Our society is in a mentality where all we want is to be “happy”. We want to be happy, we want the people we love to be happy, happy is just this thing that sounds so darn good we can’t help but want it want it want it. But what is this “happy”. Most of the time this happy refers to having the kind of life that carries little worry. Being happy to the average person means being in a relationship that isn’t too much work, and having the kind of lifestyle that creates little to no worry, or, solves most of your worries. So, it would stand to reason that this happy has something to do with having the kind of money that makes life a little easier. Oh, don’t worry, we aren’t trying to suggest that money can buy happiness, it can’t. What it does though is create less stress, and allow you to take control over the happy in your own life. How do you get there? What is possible in your life?

The truth is, anything really is possible, if you want it badly enough. That’s the key. The other truth is that you do have to do the work to get there, but if it is something that you love, it will become something you want badly enough to work for. Being wealthy enough to attain this level of happiness is possible, it’s not a life reserved for the select few any more. But you have to want it badly enough to take the necessary steps. Whatever it is that you want, whatever it is that you want to be possible in your life, here are a few things you need to do to get there.

1. Be committed to the goal. You have to know what it is that you want, and be committed to it. Talking about it and just wishing on it is not enough. The ones with the high net worth do not stop working on it.

2. Think rich. They say if you want to be a millionaire, think like one. Not bad advice. Our minds automatically start generating energy correlations with the things we think about, it’s a scientifically proven fact. Wherever you place your attention, your energy follows. When you think like a millionaire, your actions start to move in concert.

3. Again, you need to believe it. You may think that by thinking rich that is enough, but it’s not. You actually have to place the expectation on yourself that one day, you will be a millionaire. You will. We believe you can do it, now you have to as well.

4. Play with the big wigs. There is something to be said about the old adage, “you are the company you keep.” Your mama may have told you that to keep you away from the drug lords in your high school, but the same adage applies when the big boys are playing too, and it’s been confirmed through a number of psychological studies. Some studies have even found that incomes in certain social circles only carry about a 10% income variance from one individual to the next. Only makes sense right, the wait staff isn’t exactly sitting down to dine with their customers at the country club. Create ways or research ways to start rubbing shoulders with the kind of people that you want to be.

5. Always look for opportunities. The truly wealthy today are not the kind of people that made it big once and are living the good life. No. They are constantly looking for ways to build their wealth and keep their income where they want it. In fact, they are just like you, looking to get a bit further ahead as well. See, the truth is, nobody is ever truly satisfied with what they have, they keep working on making it better. Even the true millionaires. In fact, the most successful millionaires never stop working or looking for opportunities. Create the life where you can keep looking for opportunities, and with enough time to enjoy the opportunities you have created for yourself. Once you stop looking for ways to improve, you will stop improving.

Once again we’ve discussed the way to your dreams requires work from yourself, within yourself, and through yourself. You’re in charge, and don’t let that scare you, because that is the best part of having the freedom you seek. When you’re in charge, life is about as exciting as it can get!
