Lazar Industries has been committed to producing the highest-value seating products available, while remaining a step ahead of the competition in terms of design,fashion, comfort, and quality.

From the company’s inception, our priority has been to hire skilled craftspeople who take pride in their finished product. Thatquality and the reliability of our workforce has made Lazar one of the premier upholstered furniture resources in the industry foralmost 30 years.

Lazar has manufacturing facilities in Southern California as well as in North Carolina. Our size and the strength of our workforce allows us to ship high quality, custom-made upholstery within four weeks in most instances.

QUALITY CONSTRUCTION

All of our products are built to last a life time and combine the best of old-world constrution andmodern technolgy. Frames are made from kiln dried hardwood or FSC hardwood plywood. We double-dowel, staple, glue and corner block all joints. Our dining chairs feature metal banding around the frames.

We add extra padding on outside arms and backs and use self deck strips under seat cushions. Our polyfoam cushions are fully wrapped with outer skins to prevent fiber migration andridging. While our feather float option includes foam cores encased in an envelope filled with a blend of down/feather and poly fibres.

Polyfoam seat cores are sandwiched between Dacron and book wrapped with thick layers of highquality fiber. We also utilize no sag sinuous loop high carbon steel springs, or high qualitywebbing. And all frame and spring construction feature a three year warranty.

HARRAHS CHEROKEE

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT.At Lazar we are also passonate about the environment and your health.

FRAMES AND SUSPENSION.We use FSC rated, high-quality kiln dried hardwoods and plywoods, non-toxic, water based glue and recycled steel. Our suspension systems untilize 100% recycled polyester in thewebbing. And 100% recyclable polyester is used for the inside back support systems. Allsuspension staples are made from recycled steel. Tapes are made from 100% recycled plastics and glues are non-toxic and water based.

CUSHIONS AND PADDING.All back inserts are available with optional TrilliumTM fiber filling. TrilliumTM is made from 100% post consumer polyurethane recycled plastics and can be recycled at the end of its useful life. Cushions and body foam are made from PreserveTM which consists of 30% soy based materials, 70% oil based materials, and are currently the most environmentally friendly foam products available.

UPHOLSTERY.Upholstery materials, including but not limited to, tack strips, ply-grip, upholstery staples, threads, padding other than foam, glides, legs, and bases meet minimum requirements that they are made from post consumer or post industrial waste, or they are themseleves 100% recyclable at the end of useful life. Cushions are wrapped with 100% recyclable polyester fiber and a skin of polyester non-woven materials. All glues used in the manufacture of thecushioning and foam are non-toxic and water based.

HARRAHS CHEROKEE

FINISHES.We utilize 100% water based stains and the lowest V.O.C. content sealers and lacquers available are used on all wood finished legs.

EARTH DESIGN FABRICS.Our Earthdesigns collection of fabrics meeting at least one of the following crirteria:

1. Fabrics are manufactured from facilities using processes that have a Zero Impact onthe planet.

2. Or are manufactured from 100% recycled materials.

3. Fabrics are manufactured from natural and/or biodegradable products including Linen, Cotton, Hemp, and Bamboo.

PACKAGING.Products are packaged using 100% recyclable plastics, cardboard and wrappings.
