INNOVATION INSTITUION COUNCIL (IIC) VINAYAKA MISSION’S RESEARCH FOUNDATION (VMRF) Faculty Development Programme on “IPRs for Professional Innovators” from 16.06.2020 to 20.06.2020 Institution Innovation Council (IIC) – AVIT and Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (VMRF) oorganized a Faculty Development Programme on “IPR for Professional Innovators” from 16.07.2020 to 20.06.2020. The main objective of the FDP was to create awareness among participants about the basics of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) especially patents and to guide the inventors in respect of patenting their innovation. No. of registration fro the FDP is 1184 registration from 130 Institutes across the Nation. Among that 989 faculty members, 165 students & 30 Industry / other Professional. Prof. L. Prabhu, President - IIC, Welcomed the gathering and gave a overview about the FDP. Dr. K.L. Shunmuganathan, Principal - AVIT Inaugurated the Five days Faculty Development Programme and Dr. S. A. V.
