The STOPandGO project

• Devise a novel procurement process to test out the Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) EU approach

• Produce an outcome-based European Specification Template (EST)

• Conduct Open Market Consultation(s) (OMC)

• Procure services to the value of €17million (seven procurers in four countries)

The STOPandGO projectProduce and validate a standard “European Specification Template” (EST) for

tenders procuring health services for older people enabling innovative care models, as a support to the EU policies on Active and Healthy Ageing by piloting

an innovative procurement process in a coordinated manner in 7 localities across Europe.

• Innovative ways to improve and/or enlarge the support network of the elderly with Dementia

• Comprehensive treatment, enhanced by digital technologies, of patients with automated implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD) including cardiac resynchronization for patients

• Advanced services enhanced by digital technologies for elderly people in the ‘Chiaravalle’ House of Health

• Telemonitoring of elderly people with multiple chronic conditions in the home and on the move

• Integrated Diabetes  Care Service
