4.9 When was the water, which is proposed to be stocked, first filled with water?

4.10 Provide details of any previous stockings, including date, the number of fish, size and species stocked.

5. Conditions of Permit

The Service may approve stocking of ponds and dams for angling club activities, subject to the following conditions:

Angling club to maintain public liability insurance for club activities.

If your application is approved, you will need to engage an authorised person to transport the fish. The IFS does not permit individuals to collect their own fish. A list of authorised persons will be provided with the approval permit.

The fish may not be artificially fed.

The fish may only be taken from the stocked water by means of angling under the current regulations and all anglers over 14 years of age must be licensed, including the landowner. A summary of the regulations is contained within the Tasmanian Inland Fishing Code.

Fishing is only permitted during the open season, ie between the first Saturday in August and the Sunday nearest 30 April.

Your permit allows you to only stock the single water nominated on this application.
