CLAUDIA RAFFO is a 22-year oldgraduate of Arkansas State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Claudia is the daughter of Paula and Tom Raffo of Jonesboro.
During her year as Miss Arkansas 2018, Claudia makesappearances across the Natural State serving as Arkansas’ spokesperson for the Children’s Miracle Network and the Arkansas Children’s Hospital and promoting her personal platform of “New Life Saves Lives: Umbilical Cord Donation.” She also promotes the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Organization while speaking about the goals of the Miss Arkansas and Miss America System.
After her year as Miss Arkansas concludes, Claudia plans touse her scholarship money to obtain a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science.
Claudia’s personal platform, “New Life Saves Lies,” aims toencourage others to realize the importance of umbilical cord donation to help fight against blood diseases and certain cancers.
CAMILLE CATHEY is the 16 yearold daughter of Dr. Jake and Crystal Cathey of Wynne, Arkansas. Camille is a junior at Wynne High School and involved in all AP classes, National Honors Society, Drama Club, the Wynne High School cheer squad, track team, and Ink Writing Club. She is also an avid volunteer, having volunteered in all corners of Arkansas and in three other states.
Camille is a talented vocalist. For her pageant talentselection, she performed a vocal to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. This selection was appropriate because Camille is always looking on the bright side of life and loves to sing, act, write, dance, and read as well as spend time with her family and friends.
Camille makes appearances across the state promoting herpersonal platform of “Proudly Volunteer” and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. She promotes the Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen Scholarship Program while speaking about the goals of our Miss Arkansas and Miss America Scholarship Program.

The Miss Arkansas Scholarship Foundation is a volunteer-staffed, registered 501©(3) non-profit organization a nd the sole fundraising entity for the Miss Arkansas Pageant. For decades, the Pageant has
maintained a tradition PG empowering young women to achieve their personal and professional goals while providing a forum in
which to express their opinions, talents and intelligence.
In 2018, Miss Arkansas contestants were awarded over
$183,000 in scholarships and earned over $250,000 for in-kind products and services.
Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen contestants were awarded more than $29,650 in scholarships and in-kind awards.

Our program is very proud to lead in many capacities within the Miss America Organization, one of which partnering with corporations and businesses that align with our vision for empowering young women to find their voice and fund their educational goals as the largest scholarship program for women in the world. The Miss America Organization has extended its brand to include a national teen program. Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, Inc. was organized to encourage positive achievement by helping to nurture and build the scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living, and community involvement of our nation’s youth. The Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization has also established community-based initiatives and mentoring programs aimed at helping our nation’s youth build character and gain the skills necessary for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, community and business leaders, as well as participants from the national competition, the Organization continues to implement programs aimed at helping young people develop strong values, leadership skills,social conscience, self-worth and conviction about their own potential.
