TE-VSC

• DEC completed, will not evolve

• Used cable list under investigation. Some TE-VSC cables are not listed in EN-EL database

EN-STI

• DEC with 7 cables.

• Gesmar list analysed : green = EN-STI and in use, yellow = other group (50 cables).

• Paper list : analysis in progress.

TE-ABT

• 553 cables were announced obsolete but only 222 are really obsolete, the remaining is still in use till LS2 (Current BI.DIS)

• A DEC must be edited with these 222 cables

• The case of the former BI.DIS is not yet defined: can we consider it as an obsolete system ?

Preliminary study

YETS organization

• Lock-out of all services during identification and cable disconnection in conflict with some systemsIdentification and cable disconnection (YETS

2015) under the responsibility of the equipment group Up to the equipment group to decide for the lock-out of its equipmentWorking teams will need the adequate electrical

accreditationRemoval of the obsolete cables (EYETS 2016-

2017) under the responsibility of EN-EL general lock-out is mandatory.

YETS organization

• Re-commissioning after disconnection/removal – Common procedure a dedicated sub-WG will be launched soon.

• Will address the following topics:

• Procedure for already disconnected cable

• Procedure for not yet disconnected cable

• Procedure for orphan cable

• List of tests to be achieved after disconnection

YETS organizationYETS 2015/2016 Booster = 9 weeks available / SPS = 7 weeks available :

• Circuit lockout• Cable identification• Cable disconnection• System tests

YETS organization

• Current proposal:• Circuit lockout: 1-2 days

• Cable identification and disconnection for separate systems . 2 weeks in 2 shifts

• Check of separate systems: 2 weeks in 2 shifts

• Cable identification and disconnection for communication system: 2 weeks in 2 shifts

• Check communication system : 1 week in 2 shifts

• Co-activities during YETS and EYETS > Schedule to be prepared

• Tight schedule for BA3 & BA5

• Operators might help.

Conclusions

• Booster: an exhaustive approach is followed. Each listed cable is being analyzed by group owner/user ( Obsolete cables + Used cables). Almost complete!

• Results:

• Paper listings contain more obsolete cables than Gesmar

• A lot of cables seems already removed, although they are still listed in DB.

• Used/unused ratio varies very much, depending on the equipment groups considered

• Only 25 % obsolete cables were identified up to now, this result will not evolve any longer and should be considered as final.

• The same methodology will be applied on SPS and PS.
