Question 1 Who is your target audience?
• My target audience are a teen to young adult demographic, I am trying to create a classical magazine for a new generation and the survey result suggest that this demographic may be open to this new type of magazine. The results were a majority positive with 76% saying yes, and 23% were open to the idea.
Question 2 What style, genre or time of music is your magazine about or is going to appeal to a range of music tastes?
• The survey supports my idea of a classical music magazine for a younger audience. There seems to be a niche market that would enjoy a new type of magazine in a stagnating industry. It will appeal to a niche audience with a classical music taste.
Question 3 How often will your magazine come out, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or bi-monthly?
The results from the survey states that the audience want's a monthly magazine. This could mean that they wish for a more substantial magazine with long articles with greater depth .
Question 4 How much will your magazine cost? Consider who your target audience is and also how often your magazine comes out.
• The Poll states that the consumer wants to pay between 1.99 and 3.99. This means that the consumer is willing to pay more for a niche genre magazine that comes out monthly.
