The main theme that we plan on doing is good vs evil

NARRATIVE STRUCTURE

On the whole thriller trailers are very high paced with lots of edits/transitions which create suspense and tension for the audience.

Lots of intertitles which set the scene for the audience

The trailer is bold and stands out usually the clips shown contain a lot of action in a non linear sequence

We wanted to do something different and thought that their weren't many social realism films out their

Watch a lot of thrillers and are generally quite interested in the genre

WHAT WE INTEND TO ACHIEVE? We want the audience to have

visceral pleasures when watching our trailer and to sell the film to them

We can achieve this by having fast edits which create suspense

We also plan on containing a lot of action shots

WHAT WE NEED TO CONSIDER

We don’t want to over complicate the trailer and have too much going on as we feel that the more simple trailers are the better ones

In terms of technical aspects it is going to be hard to get some of the shots that we want to achieve as some could be quite dramatic
