Our services address not only mental health needs but also physical, emotional and spiritual needs. FAMILY CONNECTION • Communication with family and/or support system is encouraged • Weekly visitation • Education provided on mental health and substance abuse issues • Family conference available based on physician recommendation

ELECTROCONVULSIVETHERAPY (ECT)

• Choice for patients who have not responded well to other treatments • ECT can quickly reverse symptoms of certain mental illnesses • Provided on an acute or maintenance basis • A medical evaluation is completed prior to treatment • Administered at the main hospital to allow for the highest level of care • St. Dominic’s is a leading provider of inpatient and outpatient ECT treatment
