INITIAL BADGE CONVERSIONPhiladelphia Academy’s Post Secondary and Career Readiness course is the basis for the Digital On-Ramps badging project.

Course Outline: • Meet people in a professional setting• Shadow a professional in an area of interest• Develop resumes• Prepare for interviews, and • Share their findings with fellow classmates and school leaders

As they progress through the course, students develop and use 21st Century skills like:• Creativity• Critical thinking• Collaboration and• Communication

Students also demonstrate their digital literacy/competency through the use of Microsoft Office products to create their documents and presentations.

These are some of core skills that youth and adults need in the workforce or in college.

21ST CENTURY SKILLS AND DIGITAL LITERACY

• The Activities/Skills Badge Matrix hardwires 21st century skills and digital literacy into student learning activities across multiple learning institutions to create seamless skills based learning.

• Student can choose from an array of programs that interest them all the while developing a codified set of employable skills regardless of how they earn them.

The Digital On-Ramps Badging Project will be available:

Android

Digital On-Ramps Will Also Accept:
