Program Handbook Requirements/Monitoring Work
Requirement: Parents and staff are provided with policies and procedures that are easy to read, understandable, and brief.
Process: 1. Work in program teams to identify if all policies and procedures are in place. 2. Each team will need at least 2 Policies and Procedure handouts (1 for IISD and 1 for your program). 3. Review all program materials for each of the 19 policies listed on the Policies and Procedures handout:
a. For each policy indicate if it is complete, needs revision or you do not have; b. Indicate the number of the policy on a post it tab and mark your materials with the tab for easy identification.
4. Leave completed Policies and Procedure handout and marked materials for IISD.Next Steps: 1. IISD will review and contact programs that have policies and procedures that need revision or are not complete and provide an identified timeframe to submit.2.
