several books on the topic corsera MIT courses youtube, wikipedia (but please make sure that the person teaching

knows what he is talking about) Synchronization between lectures and exercises: we do our best to

keep the two things synchronized, however, at times theory is taught on Wed. and exercises are carried out on Friday.

Questions and help from the faculty members: feel free to ask for help. Start first asking directly after the lecture/exercise, if necessary, agree for an appointment at our offices.

you can understand them during the lecture. details, such as rigorous derivations, can be found in the lecture

slides and during the lecture are treated only superficially. Nonetheless, you should take a closer look at them when you study at home
