1. PURPOSE OF REPORT
Australia Day Award Nomination period.
2. INFORMATION
The Australia Day Awards nomination period is open and closes 5pm, 17 November 2017. Council is encouraging the community to submit nominations to the Council office, or online (www.citizenoftheyear.com.au) for the following categories:
• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year
• Community Event of the Year
The awards will be presented at the Australia Day breakfast, 26 January 2018. Council’s Australia Day Ambassador for the 2018 event is Dr Victoria Cox.

Location Rules for Mobile Food Vendors – Template Rules
The LGA has produced template Location Rules for Mobile Food Vendors (food trucks) for councils to adopt or adapt the needs of their council areas. Rehn APOLOGIES: Meagan Llewelyn, G. Howe, D. Cork MINUTES OF PREVIOUS AGM 29/11/16: D. Frick moved that the previous minutes be read and accepted, seconded S. Michael Carried BUSINESS ARISING: J. Rehn had taken on the Arno Today, and banking changes all done. PRESIDENT’S REPORT: D. Frick spoke on the previous year, thanked the committee for what had been done and encouraged all to continue for the coming year. CORRESPONDENCE: Nil FINANCIAL REPORT; As Meagan was not able to attend, presented a letter from her and financial report for all to read. Moved by D. Hauschild seconded B.Ramsey Carried Note: books still to be audited NEW BUSINESS The constitution changes were tabled and discussed, they were 2 changes. Changes consisted of minor wording changes to bring it into line for the digital age.
