CALENDAR OF DATES

Year 2 classes are taught in two semesters each consisting of an 11-week teaching block followed by a Revision and Assessment Period. Provisional dates are as follows:

First Semester

Welcome & Development Week: Monday 14th September – Friday 18th September 2020

First Semester Teaching: Monday 21st September – Friday 4th December 2020 (Public holiday: Monday 30th September) Revision & Assessment Period: Monday 7th December – Friday 18th December 2020

Mathematics with Teaching Students on, or wishing to transfer to the Mathematics with Teaching degree course should consult Dr Dombi for information just prior to the Spring Break. MMath in Mathematics

The MMath is an Integrated Masters degree, also called an enhanced undergraduate degree, and corresponds to the 4-year MMath degrees offered in England and Wales and therefore takes one more year than a BSc Honours degree. Note that progress requirements for the MMath are much higher (Credit Weighted Average over 60%). As the curriculum in the early years is the same as that for the BSc in Mathematics, a student performing very well may transfer from the BSc to the MMath course.
