ISCTE-IUL is strategically located near the center of Lisbon. On its doorstep lies a subway station (five

minutes walking) as well as a large number of bus routes, allowing easy and fast access to any part of

the city. Within a short walking distance there are a wide choice of hotels, restaurants and shops, as

well as one of the largest sport and recreational centers in Lisbon. The airport is just 10 minutes drive

away.

The ISCTE-IUL campus offers a wonderful atmosphere and facilities which include four buildings (45.000

m2), one of which is the Building II, that was inaugurated in 2003 and awarded the Valmor Prize,

Portugal's foremost award for architectural excellence.

HOW TO REACH ISCTE-IUL? – DIRECTIONS

By Car

• Go up the avenue Av. das Forças Armadas (direction: Entre Campos - Sete Rios)

• Enter the parking on your right, at about 100 meters from the entry of the avenue

From the airport (Lisbon International Airport, 7 km from the city centre)

• Aero-Bus: first stop Entrecampos, ticket costs 3,50€

• Regular bus: Line 744, direction Marquês de Pombal, stop at Entrecampos; or Line 783,

direction Amoreiras, stop at Entrecampos

• Subway: take the red line, direction S. Sebastião and stop at Saldanha metro station; change to

the yellow line, direction Odivelas and stop at Entrecampos metro station; 5 minutes walking to

ISCTE-IUL

• Taxi: to ISCTE-IUL, Av. das Forças Armadas (average price 8€/10€)

By bus (Carris – www.carris.pt/eng/)

• Take the Bus number 701 or 754

• Get off at the bus stop located in the upper part of Avenida das Forças Armadas, face to the

"little castle" of the Faculdade de Farmácia, just close to ISCTE-IUL

• Walk down the avenue. The entry to ISCTE-IUL is at about 50 meters, at your left

• Bus number 755 stop at Cidade Universitária (5 minutes walking to ISCTE-IUL)

By train

• Get off the train at Entrecampos train station, in Avenida da República

• Walk 250 meters towards Entrecampos roundabout

• At the roundabout, turn left, up to the Avenida das Forças Armadas and walk about 150 meters

in the direction of Sete Rios

• ISCTE-IUL entrance will be on your right (signposted and a little recessed from the street, before

the top of the hill)

By subway (Metro – http://www.metrolisboa.pt/eng/)

• Take the yellow line and stop at Entrecampos metro station

• Walk about 150 meters towards Entrecampos roundabout

• At the roundabout turn left, up to the Avenida das Forças Armadas and walk about 150meters

in the direction of Sete Rios

• ISCTE-IUL entrance will be on your right (signposted and a little recessed from the street, before

the top of the hill)
