Welcome to our School

Firstly, many thanks for the interest you have shown in working at our school. At Laude San Pedro International College we believe that our teaching and support team is our most valuable resource. We are focused upon attracting, selecting and developing the best colleagues from across the world so that our students have the best education possible.

As a school we are hugely ambitious and determined to be the school of choice for staff, students and families. For the last � years we have been ranked as one of the top �� International Schools in Spain�, but this does not stop us from constantly seeking to get better. The expectation is that all of our colleagues are constantly working to achieve the very best experiences and outcomes for the children in our care. You will appreciate that this drive for excellence requires a positive attitude, a real joy from working with children and the energy to create challenging and interesting learning experiences for all students.

We offer a competitive salary that goes beyond the national scale (el convenio) and which is reviewed regularly. In addition staff receive permanent contracts (after a standard one-year probationary period) which run over the full 12 month year, unlike some local schools. Our commitment to your personal development and the preparation of great lessons means that a standard teaching timetable is far less than in other schools in Spain (27 periods out of 35, representing 77% teaching time). We also provide additional non-contact time for those with additional responsibilities.

Beyond this, we offer all full time teachers free school places for your children (excluding some additional costs such as school lunches, materials and school uniform). We also offer free lunches and refreshments during the day to staff. We will help you to find accommodation and complete other administrative tasks that are required to live in Spain, so that your move goes smoothly. We offer the dedicated support of our Human Resources lead to advise and support you through the administrative and personal arrangements that you and your family will need to undertake.

-BVEF�-FBSOJOH�+PVSOFZAt Laude San Pedro International College we offer a British education in additional of selected Spanish subjects which can allow a student to graduate in both the British and Spanish systems at the same time. Our school is genuinely international, with classes taught in English by native speakers throughout the entire school, teaching over 900 children from the ages of 3 to 18 years.
