Original Concept

To create an interactive installation piece where viewers can physically interact

and effect the movements of a projected person

• The context of the interaction wasn’t clear

• I needed to rethink about the interaction

• I needed to clarify my point of view and what I was trying to say

To create an installation piece which challenges the viewers to question how

much they are really “seeing” when they communicate online

• How much can we really reveal about ourselves through online communication ?

• Are there consequences for revealing more of yourself in an online environment?

• Is online communication about two people interacting, or is just the sharing of data and pixels?

Where is the INTERACTION?

• When the user clicks their mouse a larger slice of video is shown to the other

viewer

• However the time at which the next frame appears is slower

• Thus, the larger the slice of video you show, the slower the frame rate and less

“activity” the other viewer sees
