    2. Zs dad would like Z to be able to shave himself independently.

    3. Z has several skills, including functional reading and many cooking skills. Z can get

    frustrated easily, but can usually be redirected. The basic goal is for Z to be able to shaveindependently. Z volunteers at the Champaign Public Library, and his work coordinatorwould like him to look presentable for work. His teacher believes that being more clean-shaven would make a positive impression on future employers.

    6.Z was only able to complete 30% of steps of the task analysis correctly across both probe

    trials, and Zs resistance to perform the skill resulted in a discontinuation of probe trials.

    7. In the morning before work, Z will shave his own face independently, completing 80%of the steps of the task analysis correctly.8. Teaching Z to shave would increase his independence. Also, because he would nothave to rely on his dad having time to help him, Z could shave more frequently. Thismight give him a more polished appearance and make a good impression on futureemployers.
