1. B is a 20-year-old student. She has an intellectual disability.
2. B is working on grocery shopping independently, specifically finding items and payingusing the dollar up method.
3. B can complete tasks in a timely manner most of the time but makes errors when shegets distracted. She has been taught a general description of the first three isles (out of
five) at Aldi (on Prospect by Walmart). When B shops, she looks for the items on her
shopping list but does not always make purchases due to lack of school funding.However, she has opportunities to practice paying in other contexts (such has when
eating out or making purchases for recreation).

Answer: B could find some items, but she was inconsistent about scanning isles andconsulting her list. Also, she did not give the cashier the correct amount or remember to
take the receipt.

list. She had no real procedure for looking for an item she couldnt find right away. She
missed some items in isles she knows. When paying, B did not give the cashier thecorrect amount or remember to take the receipt.
7. When shopping at the grocery store, B will correctly complete 90% of steps of the task
analysis across 3 consecutive trials.
8. Teaching B to grocery shop will allow her to grocery shop independently. This will
also give her the skills to pay for other items on her own. By having these skills, B willbe able to make more choices about what she buys.
